We’re two professional women looking for a friendly female housemate for our 3-bed Victorian flatshare in Elephant and Castle. Our lovely flatmate is buying a place of her own nearby so we’ve got a decent sized double room available from mid-late March.

The flat:
Our three-bed flat is spread over the top two floors of a Victorian terrace on a quiet street, very close to the Walworth Road. We've got a large homely living room, a spacious recently renovated kitchen, and bijou bathroom.

We’re about a 10-minute walk from Elephant and Castle tube (Bakerloo/Northern lines) and rail station (Thameslink) - Kennington tube is easily walkable too. And we're just around the corner from dozens of bus routes into central London and beyond.

We both love the area - it's surprisingly central, with pretty much everything you might need on the doorstep.

The room:
The room’s furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table - and, if you need a bed, our landlords can provide one free of charge. Alternatively, if you’ve got furniture of your own, we’re pretty sure our landlords will be happy to remove any furniture you don’t want.

Please note that the photos of the bedroom and living room are a few years old - we now have blinds rather than curtains! We’ll hopefully get some more recent photos up soon.

The flatmates:
We’re two easygoing women in our 40s, Dawn and Caroline. We hail from Lancashire and Dublin originally but probably qualify as Londoners by now!

We have our own lives and interests - I (Caroline) love getting out into nature, while Dawn enjoys checking out the latest exhibitions - but we’re around the flat a fair bit, as we both work from home a few days a week. And we have to admit that we do enjoy a cosy night in (we have been known to watch The Traitors together in our oodies).

Our new flatmate:
We’re ideally looking for another professional woman to move in. We're very respectful of each others’ space, but we’d like to find someone who’s after a place they can call home. Someone who's happy to have a natter in the kitchen, maybe even share the odd glass of wine.

The practical stuff:
Rent is £778/month - bills are on top of this, and typically come to about £150/month. Our flatmate is looking to move out by 16th March, but we can be a little flexible about move-in date either side of that.

If this sounds up your street, please do get in touch and tell us a little bit about yourself and what you’re looking for in a flatshare.
