I am the landlord of this place, but I live far from London.
I can arrange for someone in London to show you this two-bedroom flat, and I am looking for two people to take this flat, one paying £1300 for the larger bedroom and one paying £1100 for the smaller. (For a total of £2,400.)
I already have someone interested in the smaller room for £1100. She is a quiet, clean, and responsible European and a non-smoker. The larger room is now available for an immediate move-in. I would be glad to have you meet her and see the flat. She is looking for someone with a regular day job who will be quiet at night.
You will be responsible for paying utilities and council tax. Please note that your combined rental deposit is £2769. £1500 for the person taking the larger room and £1269 for the person taking the smaller bedroom.
This is a two-bedroom in Kensington between Earls Court and High Street Kensington on a small street. Close to transportation, restaurants and shops. In Zone 1-- please click on 'view on map' on the top right to see the location. You can qualify for area parking by applying to Kensington Council.
The flat is bright and newly repainted and comes with a washer and dryer under the kitchen countertop. It is a raised ground-floor flat in the back of a historical period building. This is not a basement flat.
There is a small terrace accessible through the window. I'm looking for responsible tenants who will not smoke indoors. References are required. Minimum period of letting is six months.
Council tax (band D) for Kensington and London is £1,569.4 per year.
