Hello! This first floor flat is in a charming and secluded street within easy walking distance of Portobello Road, Ladbroke Grove, Latimer Road, and White City. There is a good mix of shops, cafes and pubs nearby.
You'd be living with me (23, studies 3rd year maths at Imperial), Deeksha (25, a Master's student studying public health at LSHTM), and a brown tabby cat Roti. I'm into theatre, dancing and singing, while Deeksha is big into reading and music. We typically stick to our own space, but love tea-drinking and yap sessions in the living room every now and then. We're looking for someone similar!
The whole flat is 67 square metres. It consists of a small, but well-appointed kitchen with a huge fridge, next to a large living room (5m x 4m) with three south-facing windows. The available room is the first bedroom in the video (timestamp 00:45). It's 3.5 x 2.5m. The bathroom has a bath and a shower, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a huge garden, and a loft space for long-term storage. The flat is the top floor of a two-storey building, so no noisy upstairs neighbours.
The flat is in the heart of a conservation area of houses built 100 years ago for the families of soldiers returning from the First World War. It's in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea who charge £1570 per year in council tax (band D). The Energy Performance certificate gives a highly creditable C rating, so heating bills should be modest.
