Hi!
We've been in Camberwell for 12 years now and have recently completed a renovation on our home. On the top floor/ 4th storey we're renting a room with adjoining study to a single person. The room is adjacent to a bathroom with shower, primarily for use by the room. There is a small study on the same floor, opposite the room for rent that I use as a study in the day.

The price (£1200 per month) covers use of your bedroom/study, adjacent bathroom, use of the dining/kitchen, utility and all bills, internet and occasional cleaner for a single person. We would love to hear from people who are happy to live relatively independently around us, whilst respecting the needs of our family, as a lodger. We will of course have a lodgers Licence Fee agreement in place, for the duration of your stay.

The bedroom is a double bedroom furnished with a King size double bed. The study has 3 x metal cabinets, a desk and a chair. There is a large kitchen and dining area downstairs, both fully equipped by us and a utility room with washing machine also. The house is architect-designed (also by us) and has a warm, light, airy and modern atmosphere - there's tonnes of timber!

We enjoy cooking and good food and all that Camberwell has to offer. Family life keeps us busy; our next project is the garden, which still needs quite a bit of TLC!

We love Camberwell; how creative it is, the community here and essentially think it has a huge amount to offer all ages. There are 3 local parks within 5 minutes, the South London Gallery, UAL Arts College, a fantastic choice of pubs and great bus connections to central London or Peckham. It is ideally located for Camberwell Church Street (3 mins walk) or Bellenden Road (10 mins walk) both offer a great range of eating out and socialising options.

This is an ideal room for a young professional or recent graduate new to London, wishing to have all the comforts of a home and large private space and live in a fabulous area. Generally those with references/uk guarantors and less working from home would be preferred.
