We’re looking for someone to join us in our modern two bedroom flat in SE17.

The room is a spacious double, around 4.5 × 3 m, with plenty of room for a desk and storage (Room 2 in the plan). You’ll also have your own bathroom for exclusive use. It is just outside the bedroom rather than directly attached, but nobody else uses it.

The flat is around 75 sqm, with a large open plan living room and kitchen, balcony and plenty of natural light. The building also has some great amenities, including a fully equipped gym, co-working space, landscaped communal garden and rooftop garden with views across London.

The area is very well connected and has plenty around it, with several Sainsbury’s nearby, lots of restaurants and cafés, and a new M&S opening in October. There is also a whole new plaza opening nearby soon, so the area is continuing to grow. For anyone with a dog, there is even a dog grooming salon downstairs.

You’d be living with us, a couple in our early 30s. We’re friendly and social, but we also really value having a comfortable and relaxed home after a busy week at work. We enjoy tennis, exercising, travelling, video games, puzzles, going out for food and generally hanging out at home.

We’re looking for someone who is clean, considerate and easy to live with. We’re very happy having friends over, dinners, drinks and occasional gatherings, but we also appreciate a calm atmosphere.

Couples are very welcome!

We’re also very open to pets, especially dogs 🐶 and cats 🐱. We both love animals and would be more than happy to help look after them occasionally if useful. Any pet would simply need the appropriate approval from the building or landlord.

The room should be available from around 10 November, although we have some flexibility with the exact move in date.
