The house is on a quiet street in the Tredegar Square conservation area on Lichfield Road. It's a large mid-terrace Victorian house set over three floors with a lovely garden.

The house is in a great location, 5 mins walk to Mile End tube (Central Line, District Line, Ham & City Line). It's 15 mins walk to the DLR too. The immediate area is characterful, quiet, and with a few great pubs. Mile End Park is at the end of the road. Roman Road is 5 mins walk away. Victoria Park is 10 mins walk away.

We are letting one of the upstairs double bedrooms, a bright, double-aspect space looking out onto the garden. The large upstairs bathroom is shared with the owner, Marc, who has the other upstairs bedroom. The ground-floor kitchen and garden are shared with Marc and one other housemate, Ketty, who has her own rooms on the lower ground floor and her own bathroom.

Marc is 46, English, gay, a writer and editorial consultant who works from home. Ketty is Peruvian and a neurosurgeon working at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We like a calm, relaxed, quiet, clean and tidy house. The major rules are no smoking in the house, not too much noise, and keeping the place clean and tidy. Most of the time we each do our own things but occasionally we will cook together or go out for a meal.

All bills included (gas, electric, council tax, wifi, and a cleaner who comes once a fortnight and does the shared areas only).
