Hi All,
I've had a last-minute job opportunity crop up overseas and am very sadly giving up my place in this beautiful flat in Mile End.
✨ High-Level Overview
- Furnished double bedroom in a 3-bed house sharing with two masters students
- Rent £950/mo + bills
- Move in as early as Dec. 19th
✨ About the Flat/Room
Gorgeous double room with lots of storage space, light from the large window, and room for a desk if you work from home or are also a student.
The house itself is split over two floors. The kitchen and spacious living room are downstairs along with a half-bathroom and the full bathroom and all three bedrooms are upstairs. We are just a 5-minute walk from Mile End station (Central and Hammersmith and City lines), a 20 minute walk via Mile End park to Victoria park, and only 3 stops away on the Central line from Liverpool street.
The room costs £950/month in rent and bills will be around £100 per month on top of this. They fluctuate a bit seasonally as we pay our own gas, etc.
Because you're living with two students, there will be a reduction on the cost of council tax and, if you are a student yourself, the house can file for an exemption.
The lease is active from the 19th of December but the landlord is allowing us to swap a tenant in whenever we find them so there is some flexibility on move in date.
✨ About the Flatmates
Cassandra (26) and currently getting her Masters in Health Policy at LSE/LSHTM.
"I would love to have a friendly relationship with my flatmates where we can occasionally share meals (I make really good risotto, just putting that out there!) and hang it together. I love going on walks around London’s gorgeous parks and gardens, visiting museums, watching Taskmaster/Traitors, and making friends with the neighborhood cats!! Hoping to get back into climbing and crochet soon as well 🙂"
Ashling (23) half English, half Irish and getting her Masters in Law at the University of Law starting in January.
"I’m originally from Belgium but I lived in Brighton for four years while doing my bachelor’s in psychology and neuroscience. I’m tidy, considerate, and easygoing. I love meeting new people, going out, exercising (playing hockey and tennis), and I also love a cosy night in. I’m used to house-sharing and like a calm but friendly home environment."
✨ About You
We are looking for a female roommate in their 20s to join the house. We’re open to both students and working professionals and are mainly just looking for someone friendly who likes to keep a clean and welcoming home.
If this sounds like you, please reach out with a short intro and we'll set up a time to chat!
