Hey!
I’m a soon to be former flatmate looking for someone to replace me as a tenant! There are two absolutely lovely housemates already, Tom and Lucy, who are two professionals looking for one other to share a great little 3-bedroom home in central Bath with us and Tom’s little doggowolf Benji.
The available bedroom is a double and comes fully furnished. There's also a huge lounge/dining room, kitchen, utility area, spare room for storage, downstairs WC, bathroom and WC upstairs, a nice secure garden and a welcoming entrance/hallway. There is also a small garage around the back of the property available for storage (it is already being used by Lucy for her car, however there is residential permit parking available - I park my car on the road outside the house and there is always space! ). The location is moments away from town centre, just off the Lower Bristol Road and is also very close to Moorland Road and Bear Flat.
The property is rented as a whole, the share of the rent for this room is £570pcm. Included in this amount is the water and internet bills although this still means energy and council tax are not included in the rent and are shared equally. (My current housemates pay £660 each for all rent and bills.) The house is warm, and we’ve just had a new boiler fitted!
The deposit is one month’s rent per person, £575 each. There are no additional referencing or admin fees, just a small cost to secure the deposit of about £10.
Unfortunately the landlord does not accept undergraduate students - if approved any other student is still expected to contribute to council tax. The tenancy is for a minimum of 12 months.
We’re hoping to find a friendly and sociable housemate who would treat the place as home and be responsible about cleaning etc. You can look forward to an enthusiastic welcome home from Benji. He loves new playmates and is always entertaining, and is well behaved in general.
There is some flexibility with the move-in date, just ask for details if this is of any interest. I’m planning on moving out at the end of August at the very latest, but if you would like or need to move in sooner then that’s absolutely fine!
Send a message if you'd be interested in arranging a viewing, and please include a bit about yourself and your circumstances!
Thanks for looking ;)
