An educated and older female with some memory loss is seeking a Sharer for his home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around his home in the evenings and overnight. She would also appreciate some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking some meals each week for the older person to heat up, light cleaning and tidying, helping in the garden by mowing the grass, help with IT/Tech challenges, prompts and reminders, and other ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a double bedroom and shared bathroom (there is a second room that the Sharer will be able to use as a sitting room) and shared use of a galley kitchen, and garden.

The property is in a good location. Close to a bus stop with buses to the centre of Bath or a 20 min walk, Bath Spa Mainline railway is a 25 minutes’ walk.

This person is interested in literature and reads the Saturday Times. She does crosswords and codewords, and enjoys conversation on literature and cultural topics. There are two cats in the house so an animal lover is a must.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of this persons interests.
