I am looking for someone to take over my contract for a room in a shared house in Selly Oak for a short term let from the 5th of May until the 30th of June 2026. The house is a mix of working professionals and mature students. All are easygoing and made me feel welcome when I moved in. There is always parking pretty much right outside the house, and it’s close to all shops in Selly (sainsburys, Tesco, Aldi etc). Great price for its location, good for getting to campus if you’re a student. There are 2 bathrooms, one on each floor. 3/4 double bed. Large wardrobe with a fair amount of storage. Fully equipped kitchen (microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 fridge freezers, dishwasher). Recently got a brand new washer/dryer. Decent sized kitchen and living area.
Council tax is £145 but split between the house (unless you’re a student).
