I’m looking for a new housemate for a two-bedroom house in Selly Park.
The room is a good-sized double on the first floor and comes with a built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bed and desk shown in the photos may be available to buy from the current tenant, but they are not included as standard.
You’ll have your own bathroom, as my room has a separate en-suite.
The house has a shared living room, kitchen and dining room, plus a rear yard and shed. It’s in good condition and kept clean and tidy.
The house is on a quiet street, around five minutes’ walk from the bus stops on Pershore Road. It’s well placed for the University of Birmingham, the city centre, Stirchley and Kings Heath. Lidl and Morrisons are the nearest supermarkets.
You’d be living with me. I’m 33 year old guy who works as an estate agent. I'm generally pretty laid back, like to keep an active social life and get out and about.
Rent is £640 per month.
Bills are not included. Utilities and Wi-Fi are currently around £176 per month for the household, and council tax is around £152 per month for the household, so roughly £164 each on top of the rent.
The deposit is £727.
The room is available from 5 September, with a minimum stay of six months. The tenancy is rolling and managed through an agency, so the new tenant will need to complete their referencing and registration process.
I'd be happy to answer any questions about the house, the agent and referencing process, or myself as a housemate. Please feel free to ask.
