We are a couple of writers in our fifties and this is our much loved family home.

It’s a Victorian terraced house in a friendly and safe neighbourhood a couple of minutes away from Queen’s Park. 5 minute walk to the sea and the delights of Kemptown village, bus stops for major routes 2 minutes away, 15 minute walk to centre of town.

Our two children recently went to University and we are often in our house in Soain so not around that much. We keep an ensuite room in the loft for ourselves while lodgers stay on the first floor..

We are looking for lovely lodgers who are mature and independent and who appreciate privacy, peace, space and comfort.

We aim to be kind, tolerant and humane landlords, unlike some of the ones our kids have encountered at Uni!

Lodgers have full access to a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and sunny garden.

The bedrooms to rent are on the first floor and share a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor available to all.

We have a large basement and can offer limited storage at extra cost.

CURRENTLY AVAILABLE: Main bedroom on first floor with sea views, Very spacious and sunny room with King bed, desk space, storage and sitting area. Couples considered.
