Hi there,

I’m looking for a sociable, friendly housemate to move into a beautiful and charming central Brighton flat. I’ve been living here with a long term friend, who’s moving in with a partner - so would be looking for someone I have a connection with, as it would be great to share the occasional dinner or drink/coffee - being central Brighton, we have so many pubs & cafes on our doorstep….

Room/House info:
- Central flat in the heart of the north lanes - 5 mins from Brighton station, so suitable for commuters.
- Large double room in a 2-room houseshare.
- Move in May, but please let me know if you need to earlier/later as it may be possible.
- Could do short 3, but would need to be May - August.
- £800 a month without bills.
- Would need £1600 to move in (1st months rent & deposit).
- Can come furnished or unfurnished (has a bed, table, clothes rail, bedside tables - possibly drawers, can keep/remove any of these items).
- Patio/outside area

Things to mention:
- The room is on a main road, it’s not always a quiet street.
- No TV - housemate is taking it and I’m not planning on buying one anytime soon. I’m happy for you to bring your own one if needed, and there may be a projector.
- I’m not sure about parking, but can imagine that it would take a while to get a permit.
- Not a major party flat, but do like the occasional gathering with friends.

Who you’d be sharing with….

You’d be sharing the flat with me, a Greek South African who’s been living in and around Brighton for the last 9 years. I’m friendly, sociable and love to be outdoors, on the beach, at the climbing wall or playing guitar. I work for a Branding & Marketing Agency around the corner, so don’t work at home that much, but roughly one day a week. I go away a lot so you would have the flat to yourself sometimes, but also enjoy catching up whenever I’m around - so would like to live with someone who has a similar independence/lifestyle, and who enjoys to hang out occasionally.

- When you’re able to move in.
- If you're looking for long/short term.
- If you’d like a furnished or unfurnished room.
