I’m looking for 3 students to join me and one other person(female) in a 5-bedroom house on Newmarket Road, just off Lewes Road, for September.

I’m a recent University of Brighton graduate and I’ll be living in the house as well. I’m hoping to find a friendly group who are easy to live with and happy to have a fairly social house, whether that’s hanging out in the living room, having a drink, watching something together etc., while obviously still respecting everyone’s own space.

The location is really convenient for students. University of Brighton Moulsecoomb campus is around a 10-minute walk away, and Lewes Road is nearby with good bus links towards Falmer and the rest of Brighton.

The house has a large living room, garden, 2 bathrooms and plenty of communal space, so it doesn’t feel like everyone is just renting a bedroom.

The roof room has quite a lot of floor space, although parts of the ceiling are sloped because it’s on the top floor.

The prices above are the total monthly cost, including unlimited bills and Virgin Media Gig1 broadband with 1Gb+ internet, so there isn’t another monthly bills amount to add on top.

Tenancy deposit: £476.67 per person.

A guarantor will also be required as part of the referencing process.

The tenancy itself will go through Taylor Michael letting agency, so everything will be handled properly through the agency. I also know the landlord and landlady personally and they’re genuinely lovely and approachable people, which is one of the reasons I’m comfortable going ahead with the house.

We’re looking at moving in somewhere on 15th September.

Freshers are absolutely welcome, and there’s no gender preference. Mainly just looking for 3 students who seem like they’d get along well in the house.
