Attic room with own bathroom and south facing roof terrace outside your bedroom. A kettle in the room means you can make a morning cup of tea or coffee. All your other food is stored and cooked in the shared kitchen.

About the attic room:

This is a very private space and almost a studio at 7x4 meters in size. It comes as seen in the photos. Furnished. New double bed with new mattress. Wardrobe. Chest of drawers. It is cosy in the winter with the stormy clouds gathering on the horizon. Summer months it is bright and warm and you can watch the sun as it sets to the West. The terrace is perfect for star gazing/yoga. This really is a very magical space.

Close to both Brighton General Hospital and RSCH.

If you like the countryside: A 10 minutes walk will get you up to Sheepcote Valley for great walks and views over the south coast. Walk a little further and you’re on the South Downs Way.

If you’re a swimmer there’s the school pool open to the public 2 minutes walk around the corner. If you’re a sea swimmer a 15 minutes walk away down through leafy Queen’s Park gets you to the beach.

Resident permit parking during the day in the street and free to park 8pm - 9am. A good bus route nearby will get you into the town centre and beyond. Or a 20 min walk down through lovely Hanover and The Lanes and bus it back up the hill later in your day.

In the rest of the house there is a decent size shared kitchen with myself and another lodger. Kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher. there is a shared sitting room with WOOD BURNER. There is wireless broadband internet and a small GARDEN with washing line. Washing machine also available.

It is a quiet house during the working week but I am friendly and up for chats in the kitchen. I am an artist and my home reflects that with paintings and books and vintage bits and bobs.

For remote workers working more than 2 days a week in the room - £970 is the monthly rent to cover bills.

This is a ‘live in’ landlady situation but you won’t know anyone else is there as the space is so private so you can be as sociable or as private as you wish.

I am looking for a working professional adult who is happy to be clean and tidy particularly in the shared kitchen.
