A furnished double room in a calm, friendly home in Roundhill, Brighton. I’m looking for someone who enjoys being part of a sanctuary at home.
The house has a quiet, welcoming, community-minded and anti-capitalist ethos. It’s not a party house, but we might share meals, have garden BBQs, watch films or chat over a cup of tea. There’s a garden, laundry room, attic storage and plenty of space for two people.
My two siblings regularly visit with their young children, sometimes spontaneously, so it’s important that you’re comfortable with family visits.
Council tax band C. Bills included, subject to reasonable utility usage.

About me
I’m a live-in landlord in my 40s, neurodivergent, and enjoy cooking, nature, music and community. The home is LGBTQIA+-friendly, neurodivergent-friendly, disability-positive and social justice-minded.
I’m currently recovering from burnout and use the living room as a space to support my recovery, so I’ll often be occupying it during the day.
I value a body-positive, relaxed atmosphere where people can be themselves and feel comfortable in their pyjamas around the house.
Important information
* No full-time working from home- up to 2 days a week is fine, similarly full-time students- would need to be out for part of Monday-Friday as utilities are estimated on this basis - this could easily be negotiated!
* Pets: Applicants with a dog will be prioritised; cats will be considered.
* Food: I’m a meat eater and follow two medically required diets. This is not a plant-based household.
