We are sadly loosing a long term housemate and we have a room coming up in our central town house between seven dials and Brighton station.
We are looking for a house mate who is looking for somewhere long term to live, who has lived in shared houses before and would consider themselves clean and tidy.
It’s a large 6 bed house, where we are friends as well as house mates. We often go to pubs together, eat together or spend evenings in the garden. We split all house hold chores/cleaning and it’s important you’d be able to do the same.
We love our home and would ideally like somebody who vibes with us and could fit right in. The house consists of 6 double bedrooms spread across three floors, two bathrooms, a garden, kitchen, utility room and living room. We each spend 30 minutes a week keeping the house tidy on top of day to day cleaning up after ourselves.
Ideally you'd be looking to spend at least one year with us as this is our home, not a transitional space to get you to your next destination.
Please respond to these few questions so we can get to know you:
1. Can you tell me a bit about your daily routine (work/study schedule, time at home, etc.)?
2. What are you looking for in a house share (e. g. social vs. quiet, shared meals, independence)?
3. How would you describe your general approach to keeping shared spaces clean and tidy?
4. Are there any habits, expectations, or dealbreakers (cleanliness or otherwise) that are important to you in a shared home?
We'd love to hear from you and if you are a potential right fit we will be in touch for a house tour and initial chat.
best wishes
Aileen
