Hello!
My name's Louisa, and I'm a friendly English teacher and writer. I’m looking for a housemate to share a beautiful 2-bed semi-detached house in north Brighton, Hollingbury, with my friendly, loving, well-behaved 8 year old dog, Bella. I have a sunny unfurnished double room available from 1st April onwards. The house is furnished (by me).
Our house has wonderful views of the sunset over the South Downs. We are well-connected to Brighton centre with the 26/46/52/5 bus stops all between 1 minute and 10 minutes' walk, and which take approx 20mins to get into town. Preston Park train station is only 1.6miles. The house has 2 private off-road parking spaces and a shed for use between us (though I presently don't use either and only use parking space if someone comes to visit so all are essentially yours!) Asda/M&S and various supermarkets are within 7 minutes walking distance. The Hollingbury Woods/golf course and Wilde Park are a ten-minute walk away.
The house is very spacious, with a living room (with log burner!), dining room, kitchen, bathroom (with bath) and downstairs loo and even a utility room and laundry room. We have two gardens front and back and really lovely neighbours.
I work Mon-Fri, and I chill at home most weekends and evenings, occasionally going away to stay with friends or having family/friends to dinner or to stay (I have double sofabeds in the living room), maybe once every couple of months, and am happy for you to do the same - just not all the time!
Privacy is important; obviously we'd need to get on well to live in harmony, and new friends are always nice - but a peaceful home is super important to me

Council tax - Band D - £220pm
Gas / electricity - £100 approx in the summer months
Gardening - £33
I don't have Wifi as I have unlimited data and use my Hotspot for big TV and I pay for lots of subscriptions that I'm happy to share, but you can get Wifi if needed, there's a BT source here.
