Hi - my housemate is moving out so I am looking for someone to fill their room.
The flat is in central Brighton, 5-10 minute walk from the station, and close to multiple bus stops. 5 minutes away from Aldi.
It is a 2 bed property - I have an en suite in my bedroom, meaning the main bathroom (with shower and bath) is practically only for you (barring guests!) The bathroom also has a large airing cupboard, and I only use the top shelf. There is a washing machine and a dishwasher. The living room and kitchen is combined but the TV acts as a sort of divide between the two.
There is a decent sized balcony that gets lovely sun in the mornings.
Your potential new room is a double, and has a door to the balcony. It also has a storage cupboard.
(In the video it's the first bedroom that you see, am waiting for a picture from housemate of the room but it will be completely unfurnished when they leave)
IMPORTANT - I have two indoor cats who are incredibly important to me, so whoever becomes my new housemate would have to like cats/have an interest in their safety. We can have a discussion about this before a viewing :D
Monthly bills (your half): rent is £820, council tax is £84, electricity is roughly £50-60. We will set up a new Wifi together (if okay with you) so not sure on price of that. Water is roughly £250-300 every 5 months.
I am 29 years old, I work in a nursery during the week and as a personal assistant on the weekends. I occasionally have a couple of friends around to watch films etc, but rarely have large gatherings. But we can chat more about what we'd like from a housemate when we meet :)
(You can text/Whatsapp me if you'd prefer!)
