Looking for a friendly person to live in our family home for a short to medium term let of between 5 to 9 months approx. In exchange for reduced rent, I am also looking for regular babysitting.
The room would suit someone who is looking for a short term solution whilst they get themselves on their feet with a more permanent solution in Bristol, or as a base before/after travelling.
Its a ground floor double room furnished with bed, desk and drawers. There is a shared kitchen, living room and garden. And a space to park a car (shared with the other lodger).
You would also be sharing the house with my 3 year old son. Whilst he is pretty chilled and friendly, he is also a toddler! I'm therefore looking for someone friendly and chilled who is open to this set up and being around family fun and chaos that follows! We are pretty used to having different lodgers living here, and they are very much a part of the home in a house-share come family home kinda vibe!
The babysitting set up would be 5 hours a week at a rate of £13ph. This is all included in the reduced rent of £370 a month (including all bills). Would be a mix of: prearranged evenings, early morning, ad-hoc support at the weekends, intermittent support throughout the week etc.
There is also one other lodger / flat mate here too who is super friendly.
The house is only a 5 minute walk to the pubs and shops of North Street. Whilst Ashton Court is only 15/20 walk away. There is a garage where you can store bikes etc
I look forward to hearing from you,
Emma
