Double room:
£813pcm

I am a former student at UOB moving out of a 4 bedroom flat share in the Redland area. The available room has a double bed, chest of drawers, cupboard. large desk with shelves attached and a notice board.

The flat has a large living room with two large sofas and a kitchen with dishwasher, washer dryer, oven and gas cooker included; smaller kitchen appliances have been provided by the other flatmates (microwave, toaster etc.) The flat is located at the very top of the apartment building.

There are two bathrooms, both with shower facilities (the largest has a bathtub). The second bathroom is located closest to the advertised room so is easy to access.

The building is located very close to the University of Bristol, with buildings such as the Senate House and Arts and Social Sciences Library being around 10 mins walking distance away. The Wills Memorial Building is around 15 minutes walking distance away.

It is also located a few minutes walk away from various shops such as Sainsbury's in the Clifton Down shopping centre and the Co-op across from the White Bear pub.

The current flatmates are all students at UOB, their names are Jake, Sam and WIll. Jake is the lead tenant and is who you should talk with regarding rent payments and bills and any questions about the flat. They are all very friendly and mostly keep to themselves focusing on their studies.

We are looking for a flatmate who preferably studies at the University of Bristol (although professionals will be accepted and students at UWE can get in touch if they are interested). They will be able to move into the room from the 1st of November. They also should be comfortable helping out with chores in the flat such as cleaning and helping with bin collection.

Bill packages for water, gas, electricity and Broadband are provided through the Student Energy Group and come out at around £25 per person per week (this can vary depending on energy prices). This flat is exempt from council tax due to being a student accommodation, however the landlord accepts a mix of student and professionals living in the flat as long as the professionals pay council tax.

The deposit for the room is 1 months rent, equaling to £812.50.

The very first rent payment is only for the period of 2 months starting from the 1st of November up until the end of December, meaning the first rent installment is equal to £1,625.

Subsequent rent is paid in installments encompassing 3 months. Rent is £812.50 a month (this is the exact amount, the advertised amount doesn't allow decimal points) , meaning each installment is equal to £2,437.50 for a period of 3 months. Theses payments are on the dates 13/01/2026 and 14/04/2026, which are delayed payment dates to account for the dates in which student finance is paid out.
