We’re looking for a reliable, responsible person to live in a self-contained ensuite room at our friendly boutique hotel, Artist Residence Bristol. In return for free accommodation, you’ll be our overnight on-call support from 11pm–7am, Sunday to Thursday.
What’s the arrangement?
You’ll stay in a double ensuite bedroom (with roll-top bath and walk-in shower), with a private entrance.
The room is yours Sunday night through to Friday morning (you’ll need to vacate Friday and Saturday nights).
Basic facilities provided for light cooking (kettle, hob, microwave oven).
WiFi and bills included.
In return, you’ll keep the on-call phone by your bedside and be ready to respond if needed - from fire alarms and medical emergencies to a guest locked out. Disturbances are rare, but possible.
Who this might suit
This setup could be perfect for a contract worker who’s in Bristol during the week and heads home on weekends. It wouldn’t suit shift workers or anyone needing guaranteed undisturbed nights.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Calm, dependable and responsible in case of emergencies
Respectful, tidy and discreet in a hotel environment
Presentable and able to communicate clearly in English

This is not a paid role - the exchange is accommodation in return for overnight on-call support.
References and a security deposit (£500) required.
