I’m looking for a flatmate to share my waterfront home on Bristol harbourside! It’s a peaceful 2 bedroom flat so you’d just be sharing with me and my friendly little Spaniel Dougie. The room is a double and the rent (£900 per month) includes rent, all bills and an allocated parking space.

The flat is in Baltic Wharf, a quiet, leafy estate with a really nice community vibe.
The location is a good mix of being close to everything while still feeling peaceful. There are no roads in front of the flat, and you’re surrounded by green and blue spaces. I’ve lived here for the past two and a half years and absolutely love it. One of my favourite things about living here is the waterfront view from the living room, kitchen and wraparound garden. The garden looks out over the water but is surrounded by hedges, so it still feels really private and peaceful.

The city centre is within walking distance and Ashton Court, and less than 15 minutes’ walk to Wapping Wharf. You’d have access to an allocated parking space and secure bike storage within the estate, and there are regular bus services from the end of the road.

I’m a 35 year old LGBT+ woman and have lived in Bristol for the last 7 years. I work in the environment sector, and when I’m not out with Dougie I’m usually cycling, running, hiking, or out and about with friends camping, at festivals or at gigs. The rest of the time I’ll be having a chill evening at home watching trashy tv/cooking.

I’m looking for someone who’s friendly, considerate and wants a home where we can both relax and enjoy our own space. You’d need to be happy with having a friendly little doggo about the place (though I can’t imagine that’ll be a hard sell!), and it would be lovely to have a cuppa, chat or watch a film now and then :)

As I work from home most weekdays, the flat is probably best suited to someone who works/studies out of the house at least some of the time. The room is for one person, and whilst I’m happy for you to have people over, I’m looking to keep it as a one-person lodger arrangement, so it wouldn’t be suitable if you’re looking for somewhere your partner could regularly stay.
