Hi, I have a spare furnished small double bedroom in my 3 bed flat, available around the start of April.

I am looking for someone:

Vegetarian or vegan
Clean and tidy
Friendly and sociable
Shared interests, would be great if you’re a climber

The flat is in a convenient location, on the edge of the city centre. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living room/kitchen, medium sized balcony accessible from all rooms with nice view and plants, washing machine, broadband, secure bike store. It’s non-smoking, on the 5th floor and quiet, despite the central location. Unfortunately, due to the central location, parking is problematic.

I am flexible on moving dates, happy to wait for the right person, rather than in a hurry to fill the room. People who will stay longer are preferred, but length is flexible, with one month notice period.

I climb a lot and work from home. I’d be interested to hear from anyone veggie/vegan who thinks they might be a good fit - it’s nice to feel like flatmates might become friends / sometimes want to hang out or do stuff together, rather than strangers sharing a roof, so it would be great to find someone who would be up for a climb, going to the pub or whatever. I like to have a friendly, sociable flat, where everyone makes themselves at home (but not a party flat), while also being considerate and maintaining good standards of cleanliness.

My other current lodger works in the arts and health, and she has a medium sized dog, called Toby, who is very friendly, so you would need to be happy about living with a dog in the flat.
