Looking for a new flatmate as my current flatmate is moving out to live with her partner.
**Ideally looking for another female Master's/PhD student over age 23. Professionals considered but will be liable for reduced council tax rate due to my student status**
The flat is a two-bed ground-floor flat in Bedminster, opposite Greville Smyth park. The flat used to be a factory building so has huge windows and is very secure. Spacious open plan living/dining area and a shared bathroom. The room itself comes unfurnished, and has lots of space for furniture. The current furniture in the living/dining area is going to be changed when my current flatmate moves, as she is taking a lot of it with her and I will be buying replacement furniture. You are also welcome to bring furniture with you!
Sadly no garden, but we do have a huge park across the road, and parking is available (for free!) in the car park out back. Very close to North Street, so there is plenty of shops/cafes/supermarkets/salons/gyms etc. just down the road.
The rent is £600 a month each (paid monthly on 19th), Wifi is £13 each (paid monthly on 15th), electric is around £75 a month (depending on heating usage etc.- paid monthly on 15th), and water is £125 (paid every 6 months).
Deposit is £742, not sure why but SpareRoom will only let me put £599 on the ad, and one month rent is expected in advance.
A bit about me:
I'm currently studying for a PhD in psychology. I usually have a mix of home-working (in my room) and office working from Mon-Fri. I'm pretty chilled, tidy, and sociable. I also like my own space and can respect others' space. I enjoy going out, but don't want to live in a party house. However, having friends/partners etc. round the flat is fine by me. My boyfriend usually stays at the weekend and one day in the week (or less). I'm always down for a pub-trip, coffee, night out etc.
I've lived in the flat for a year and it's been lovely. The location is great, and the flat itself is well maintained, well-priced for the area, and the landlords are sound.
What I'm looking for:
Ideally, it would be great to find another like-minded gal- tidy, chilled, happy to help out with housework, preferably be doing a Master's or PhD (for council tax reasons), and be over 23.
Looking for someone to move in before 19th July
Feel free to message/text me with a bit about you :)
