We are looking for a mature, friendly and down to earth person to share the home of an engaging older lady and her large breed, very friendly dog. She is a woman of Christian faith, loves gardening, walking her dog and doing jigsaw puzzles. She has some short term memory loss, therefore experience with this would be preferred. In exchange for low cost accommodation, we ask that you offer around 10 hours of support each week and provide a reassuring overnight presence. We carry out detailed interviews, references and a DBS check.

Please read the Homeshare West website before enquiring to ensure you fully understand the requirements. You must be employed and, where relevant, have the Right to Reside in the UK.

Support would include cooking and eating together 2-3 times a week, occasional shopping, companionship, and being around some evenings and weekends. Light help with simple tech would be appreciated, and will potentially consider someone with a calm dog. Due to the rural location, a car owner is a must.
