Hi! We are two women in our late twenties looking for a third housemate to fill a room in our home in CB1 as our current housemate moves out to live with his partner.

The room is an unfurnished double in a semi-detached house between Addenbrookes and the station. It has built in wardrobe and shelf space, and is upstairs at the quieter back of the house. The house has two toilets and a communal, homely, living/dining room space. There’s also a huge lovely garden which the room looks out over, a locked shed to keep bikes etc., and free on-street parking a 2 min walk away. The rent is £675 per month, bills are currently £157, deposit would be 5 weeks rent, and you would need to pass a referencing process with the estate agents that manage the property. The rooms available from July (exact date is a bit flexible) and we’re looking for someone to sign a contract for 12 months.

We both like to cook, hang out and watch TV, go to the pub, have friends over for dinner, travel, hike/outdoorsy things, and we both do a lot of sport. We both also do a mixture of home and office working, and both work in the public sector. We’re looking for someone friendly and tidy who wants to become part of our home! Ideally we are looking for someone we get on well with who wants more than just somewhere to sleep at night.
