Hi there!

We are Alice, Elena and Laura and we are looking for a new housemate to join our shared house! We are all current PhD students (Elena and Laura are at the British Antarctic Survey and Alice is doing Human Geography) and are looking for another student to join us. Just to note we are looking for a woman or someone who identifies as non-binary to move in with us.

The house is pretty central (only a 10 min cycle into town) but is on a quiet residential street. We have a HUGE garden along with a shared living room, kitchen (with gas hob and tumbledryer), a separate shower/bath room and then toilet (room?) upstairs with a second bathroom with a shower and toilet downstairs. We do have a parking space in front of the house but tend to keep this free - there is free parking around the corner or you could buy a permit to park on the road. We also have a shed at the bottom of the garden and a storage place for bikes.

The house has three bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. It is one of the upstairs rooms that is available. The room is garden facing and would share the upstairs bathroom facilities with 2 other housemates. The room is fully furnished with a desk, desk chair, wardrobe, drawers, bookshelf and bed. The room is £513 per month and bills are usually around £50 per month [averaged over the year]. Each housemate takes care of one bill/sending the rent each month and we'd ask for you to take over sending the rent to the letting agent.

We are looking for someone who is friendly and up for hanging out together, as well as considerate of the others in the house and willing to keep to our cleaning rota and help out maintaining the garden :) we are also thinking about fostering a cat [though we need to get permission from the landlord] so this might be something to consider!

The move in date would be around the beginning of April give or take two weeks. We'd be happy to speak about what would suit you and try and work something out.
