I’m looking for a new flatmate for a double room in a ground floor flat in Chesterton. Happy to consider both long and short lets, although longer lets preferred. Room is available right away.

Room is furnished with double bed, desk and chair, chest of drawers and bookshelf, as well as large built in wardrobe and another built in cupboard.

The flat has an open plan dining room/living room kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and kettle. There is one shared bathroom with a shower over a bath. Living room has two sofas and a large dining table.

The building has a large communal garden with picnic tables, and friendly neighbours, including a nice existing community here. The flat has wheelchair access, although the bathroom is not fully adapted.

There is parking onsite for visitors and a garage for one car of our own (I currently do not drive so the space would be free for you).

Rent is £750 per month, plus roughly £130 in bills - (Council tax band B, £50 electric, £12.50 wifi) We have high speed fibre WiFi.

I’m a 28yo professional, but will soon be starting my PhD in Italian/Film Studies. I like film, crafts, music, board games and I'm looking for someone friendly to share with, and hopefully occasionally hang out in the evenings.
