My room is becoming available for a roughly five month sublet with potential to extend.
The room is available from 9th March. We’re holding viewings over the next week or two.
Price:£900pcm
(Given March rental period is <a month it will be discounted to reflect no. Days)
The room: The room is a double on the first floor of a lovely big period property, overlooking our back garden (stunning when the sun comes out!)
The rest of the house: You will share that garden, alongside a big kitchen-living room and two bathrooms with five lovely housemates – aged mid-twenties to mid-thirties – and the friendliest cat you’ll ever meet. They are:
· Anna – London native with the voice of an angel (our resident choir singer).
· Harvey – a non-binary Scot working in mental health who loves pop music as much as they love football.
· Lucian – a tall Aussie who enjoys gaming, cricket and especially trains.
· Lydia – American cat mum and the biggest Heated Rivalry fan in E1.
· Tom – an even taller Aussie who can usually be found cooking up a (delicious) storm.
· And of course – Dolly the cat – snuggly diva and east end icon who likes naps and warm laps.
As a group, we keep things clean and tidy without being anal about it. We are a friendly household who will hang out in front of the tv and even host the occasional party / BBQ / get-together, but equally all have busy lives and are often out and about.
Because of this and the size of the house, it pretty much never feels cramped despite being a six person household.
Worth also mentioning that a few of us are queer – so this is most definitely an LGBT+-friendly household.
Area and transport links:
· We’re only five minutes away from Stepney Green station (District and Hammersmith and City lines), which in turn is only one stop away from Whitechapel and the Lizzy line and Overground.
· Mile End station (Central Line) is ten minutes the other way – which is great for the night tube at weekends. We’re also a short walk from Mile End Road meaning loads of buses too.
· Despite being super central, we’re not too far from nature… with Victoria Park and the Regents Canal not far away. If you head in the other direction, we have the amazing cafes, bars and shops of Bethnal Green and Columbia Road. There are lots of little supermarkets nearby for groceries, and a big Sainsburys close by too.
