I am very sad to be leaving my amazing room in East London to move in with my boyfriend. So we are looking to find someone (single occupancy) to take over my room in a gorgeous converted church. We are really good friends so would like to find someone who is social and likes end of day chats. Ideally they would have their own thing going on but would also like the occasional Sunday walk or pub.
We are looking for someone in their 30s to early 40s who is clean, respectful and wants somewhere to call home. This is a very chilled and relaxed house rather than a party house.
CURRENT HOUSEMATE
You will be living with one other girl (Ashleigh who is in her mid 30s and works as a knitwear designer) and her cute excitable dog Nico. Ashleigh is sociable, and loves hanging out with her friends and also chilling at home. She enjoys yoga, dog walks and a good pub.
Currently she works 2 days WFH.
THE ROOM
Furnished with double bed, double ikea wardrobe, bedside tables, bedside table lights and double chest of drawers. So ample space. The room is also huge so if you wanted to add a desk there is room.
THE FLAT
Spread over 2 floors the downstairs has a large open plan kitchen, living room and dining. A small garden patio. A downstairs loo and a place to store one bike on the wall. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. The family bathroom which you would mainly use (so you can store your bathroom stuff in there) as the other room has an ensuit shower.
DETAILS
The rent is £1260 per month including bills with one months deposit. Minimum tenancy is 6 months. Available immediately can be flexible for move in dates.
The area
Great spot in Bow
5 min walk to Devon’s road station
15 min walk to Mile End station and Bromley by bow station.
30 min walk to Canary Wharf
35 min walk to vicky park (can walk along the canal which is lovely) ☺️
Sorry, the room is no longer available
