Hi! This cute room in Whitechapel will be availabe in June (date can be flexible), as my current flatmate is moving to another area in London (:
ABOUT THE FLAT:
The flat is spacious, and the living room faces South, which means direct sunlight most of the day. It's also very well ventilated, there's loads of storageroom, and a small spare room that we use as a study/home office/guestroom. There's also a shed where we keep our bikes, but you could use it for something else, if you need.
The landlord is very helpful and solves the issues in the flat quickly. He's working on making the flat as carbon neutral as possible, with renewables only electricity supply.
Location is also great, with a few tube stations around, lots of shops and amenities quite close. It's walking distance from Broadway Market, Brick Lane (when you want some buzz), and also Shadwell (when you need a bit more quiet and peace by the river 🙃).
All bills are included in the rent, except for council tax.
ABOUT YOUR POTENTIAL FLATMATE (AKA ME):
I'm a 33 yo, queer immigrant, starting a master's in sustainability. I spend a lot of time at uni, but also stay home often, either reading, batch cooking, or exercising. I'm up for a chat here and there, and would love to create a friendly dynamic at home, where we're not complete strangers. But I also value spending time on my own when I'm in 🙃
ABOUT YOU:
• Preferably woman (cis or trans) or non-binary AFAB
• Ideally, you're a queer lovely human. But if you're just a queer-friendly lovely human, it's fine, too
• Tidy, respectful of other people's space, and clean after yourself
If you think this would be a good fit for you, tell me a bit about yourself and when you'd be available for a viewing (:
