Bright double room with big window on the second floor of a well-maintained, two-story flat (1st and 2nd floors of a traditional terraced house).

We have 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms total; upstairs/2nd floor are 4 bedrooms and one bathroom, and downstairs has a large eat-in kitchen, spacious living room, one bedroom and a second bathroom. There is a shared garden to the rear accessed from the kitchen.

15 min walk to George Square, right between Bruntsfield and Tollcross. Great location for food runs, cafes, access to Tollcross amenities and also close to the Meadows for walks, picnics, etc.

NOTE: The available room looks smaller in pictures than it is in reality. It is now clear and ready for move-in.

The Flat Common Areas

Full-size kitchen with table seating four, quality appliances - dishwasher, washer/dryer, large fridge/freezer, new oven and microwave. (We actually cook and enjoy occasional flat dinners.)

Spacious, high-ceiling traditional living room with lovely bay window - great for evening conversations, entertaining, music (good sound system) and film-watching.

Single guest room! We have as a plus a spare single room with a bay window on the first floor, equipped with a camp-bed for visiting guests and storage.

We're a creative, friendly group who respect each other's space and lifestyle choices. Our home has a relaxed atmosphere - while we all keep busy with our own studies/work/activities, we also enjoy hanging out in the living room together and having people over for dinner/drinks. Not a monastery but also not a chaotic party flat. We are looking for someone who fits the vibe and will enjoy the group dynamic.

Practicalities

Because Cameron works, council tax applies (Band F) but we get 25% student discount with another student flatmate.

Ideally we want someone from now/ or 1st January to at least 1st September, and someone staying through next year would be ideal. However, we can be flexible for the right person if it's 5+ months, i. e. until the end of May.
