I rent a lovely 2-bed flat in Newington, and am looking for a new flatmate to join me anytime from 11th/12th December 2025, onwards.

The room faces the front garden and has a double bed, wardrobe, bedside table, chest of drawers, and a bureau desk (if wanted).

The shared spaces are the living/dining room and fully fitted open-plan kitchen, bathroom (with electric shower and separate bath), small laundry room, private front garden, and private shed & deck in the communal back garden. There is a *lot* of storage in the flat. A fantastic landlady too!

It would be nice to find somebody looking to stay for a year or more.

As I still have student exemption from council tax until September 2026, I would be looking for either a student, or a professional who is willing to pay for the complete council tax - band C, with 25% exemption - until I secure full-time work, and split thereafter. Listing price without bills (typically £60-£80pcm each, incl. WiFi).

A bit more about me: My MSc was in Forensic Science. I'm a photographer and sometimes-dance-teacher. Quite active and also enjoy cosy nights-in. I prefer outdoor activities to nights out, but do like a good eve of fun - the Jazz Bar is the place to be!

Would love to find a flatmate with whom I can keep a relaxed, homely environment, and who appreciates a clean and organised space. Somewhere we can hang-out, have dinners and watch films/listen to music together, but also respect and have our own space at times.
