I am a current 4th year student at the university of Edinburgh subletting my room in a shared flat from after May 17th until August 28th as I am leaving Edinburgh after my exams are over. You could move in at any time in May or June, and move out during August. The lease could be continued into next year with the main landlord, if desired.

Location: 35 Viewcraig gardens, 10 minutes walk from George Square & main library, 5 minutes from Lister Learning Centre. Lidl, Tesco, Sainsburys all nearby. Arthur's seat within easy walking distance! Good access to busses.

Flat details: on the 4th floor of a block, other residents of the building are mostly students and professionals, all very quiet. The room itself is on the 5th floor facing towards Arthur's seat and gets sun in the mornings with sunset views in the evenings. Kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, big fridge/freezer, spacious cupboards, kettles, rice cookers, washer-dryer etc. There is a drying room and extra space for storage. Landlord is responsive and proactive, anything that breaks is repaired quickly. Kitchenware also provided. 2 shared bathrooms, downstairs has a shower, upstairs has a shower-bath.

Room details: double bed, office chair, two sets of drawers and a big cupboard, bookshelf, desk, lamp. Large window with views of sunrise and sunset on Arthur's seat. Additional cupboard in the hallway for extra storage if needed.

Tenant requirements: for council tax reasons, you have to be a student. No smoking. Our flat is quite relaxed and quiet.

Other flatmates are all masters students and one PhD.
