Hi! We're Bessie and Poppy, two students going into our third year of uni this September. We have two rooms to rent in our flat because our other two flatmates are going on a year abroad.
We're turning 20 this May, both friendly and tidy. We both love to cook, go charity shopping, and take part in a good pub quiz. You'll often find us getting very invested in an episode of Brigerton or the like with a hot chocolate or glass of wine, but we're always down for a night out (and think we know some pretty good spots too!).
The flat in the centre of Marchmont close to shops, pubs and the Meadows park. We are around a 10 minute walk away from central campus and are surrounded by green spaces such as the Bruntsfield links and the Meadows. We are well connected to the rest of the city with 3 different buses going into the city centre from our doorstep.
Our flat has a very spacious living room with a sofa, tv, and 6 seat dining table with lots of natural lighting coming from our bay windows and skylights. For us the living room is an important social space where we love to hnag out, share meals, watch tv and play games etc. The kitchen is very modern with all applicances including a washing machine. Also our bathroom has been recently removated with a large shower.
Room 1: Room 1 is a medium size room with a large south facing window letting in lots of light, a desk, wardobe and double bed.
Room 2: Room 2 is the largest room in the flat with lots of floor space, a large south facing window, double bed, wardrobe and desk.
We share a peaceful garden with the rest of our building which the two bedrooms overlook. There is permit parking available on our street.
Additionally, we have plenty of cookware, some furniture, and other necessities. Also we have a lot of storage in the flat with two large cupboards in the hallway which we share.
Wifi is included in the price of your rent and our gas and electic bill this year has been less than £30 a month so will be similar for next year. Because we are students we don't need to pay council tax and water bills so you don't need to worry about these.
