Looking for a professional (or postgraduate student) female lodger for the second bedroom in my home, where I am the live-in landlord.

This is for a short term let only. However, for a well suited lodger the proposed time can be extended.

The flat is in a beautiful Morningside location, tucked away on a peaceful street just off the main road - a quiet, leafy spot with easy access to local cafés, buses and walks.

The home includes:
• A spacious shared living room and open-plan kitchen
• Shared bathroom with shower and a lovely original cast iron bath
• A peaceful bedroom overlooking the communal garden, with built-in wardrobe, an armchair and side table

It’s essential that you love animals - my friendly chocolate Labradors, Poppy and Daisy, visit from time to time, alongside Misty the black cat. So comfort with pets is a must.

This would suit someone friendly, calm, and mature in mindset, who’s looking for a peaceful base and who understands this is a shared home environment, where you are living with the owner, and not a student setup or party flat.

Respect for the space and each other’s boundaries is important too.
