We have a lovely, spacious double with ensuite (single occupancy only) in the attic of our well looked after house in Stoke Hill, which is very convenient for the University.

The room is on the 2nd floor in the attic of the house. It has a double bed, and wardrobe, chest of drawers, lamp and bedside cabinet. There is an ensuite with shower, toilet and washbasin. There are lovely views across to the hills. It is available from 1 February 2024 and the rent for single occupancy is £675 including bills.

The area is very quiet and friendly.

The house has a spacious open-plan sitting room and kitchen area, complete with a TV with Virgin channels, washer/drier, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The kitchen was recently refurbished.

The present tenants are all easy-going professionals and postgraduate students who keep the place very clean and tidy.

There is a family bathroom with shower, bath and toilet as well as the cloakroom with basin and toilet on the ground floor.

There is free on street parking and a nice garden with sitting area, washing line and barbecue for al fresco dining. Stoke Hill is a quiet residential area, just 20 mins walk to the University (Streatham campus) and the city centre. A big Morrisons is only 5 minutes' walk away. A gardener maintains the garden (included in the rent)..

The rent includes Council Tax, water, gas, electricity, wireless broadband (Virgin Media cable)..

The room is suitable for professionals or mature students. You must be tidy and non-smoking. A deposit of one month's rent and previous rental and employment references are required. The deposit will be placed in the Deposit Protection Service - one of the government approved schemes.
