Double room:
£650pcm (en suite)

Our room is a ground floor double room with it’s own side entrance. There are two windows and a set of double doors to the front of the house that let in a lot of light. It is a warm room that is currently unfurnished but can be furnished. There are built in shelves as well as a fold out desk. There is a toilet, sink and utility room next to the bedroom. The tumble dryer is located in the bedroom and we would ask to use it in times when you are out, although would not use it in good weather.

The bedroom leads into a spacious open plan kitchen/diner and on to a shared living room. The shared bathroom is upstairs and has a bath and shower. We have all amenities such as washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer. We have a beautiful garden with two rabbits in and a vegetable patch in the front garden. There is free on street parking. We have full fibre Virgin broadband. We live in council tax band D.

We are a family of four with two young children aged 2 years and 5years, it is a vibrant household, often with toys scattered everywhere. We have a cleaner to try and stay on top of things. I home educate the children and my husband works mainly from home (based in the shed!) the younger child is often in bed by 6 and the older one by 8. As your room is downstairs and the children sleep well I don't anticipate you being woken by the children at all. If you have any questions about the practicalities of living with children do get in touch. It is important to us that our tenant is comfortable around children and open to engaging with them. They will want to get to know you but we will also ask them to give you privacy when you need it. Otherwise we would like to feel you are a part of the family whilst in our shared areas.

Our local community is welcoming and safe and we are friendly with most of our neighbours. Heavitree has two large parks within a few minutes walk from our house, aswell as a peaceful cemetery that we love to walk in and a small high street with Co-op, Tesco metro etc. Exeter town centre is a 25 minute walk and there is a bus on our street that takes 10 minutes to town. There are new traffic calming measures including road closures round our area which means that our road and surrounding roads feel quiet and safe.

It’s really important that we find the right person to fit with our family. A warm and open person who is independent but up for getting to know us. We will enjoy getting to know you and also be busy doing our own thing too so we hope there would be a nice balance between privacy and connection. We really look forward to hearing from you.
