Furnished double bedroom available in a homely three bed flat!

I currently have a short term flatmate staying until Christmas, but looking for a longer term flatmate! Currently planning that after Christmas it would be the two of us with a spare room.

I’m a doctor working in Ayr and commuting so I’m out a lot, but when I’m in I enjoy cooking, watching a film, and I like to be able to be sociable and have a chat after work with my flatmate (though at the moment with my shifts and commute I don’t often have much time in the evenings). I occasionally have friends round for food and board games. I also have two friendly flat cats.

My short term flatmate is a new journalism grad from London who is doing a short training period as a trainee sub editor in Glasgow.

The room is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair, desk and chair, and a bookcase.

There is a shared living room, bathroom, and kitchen. The living room has a television with an AppleTV box and between us we have a few subscription services - Netflix, Prime, Disney (that you would of course be welcome to use!)

There is also a tidy garden shared between eight flats, in which we have a secure metal bike shed where you would be able to store a bicycle.

The flat has a good Wi-Fi connection, free on-street parking, and good transport links with busses along Great Western Road to the West End or town, ~12 min train journey into Glasgow, and close to Clyde tunnel for motorway access. It is very close to multiple supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl, Morrison’s, M&S food). There is also a lot of green space nearby with parks and the canal.

Looking for someone who is fairly quiet, clean, and considerate. Hoping to find someone I will get on well with. Even better if you love spending time with a cat!

Rent is £600 per calendar month, and includes broadband. Council tax is band D ~£184pm total, and we split utilities equally, it varies month to month.
