Hiya, I'm looking for a flatmate to take over the spacious room in a cozy flat, starting the tenancy from 1st May, 2026.
Most of the stuff you see in the pictures belong to my flatmate. Will also confirm about viewing later.
The Room/Flat itself:
- Comes with a double bed, a chest of drawers (white), and walk-in wardrobe. The shelves, table and chair you see in the pictures belong to my flatmate. You will have a lot of space.
- High ceilings, lots of natural light
- Central location: walkable distance both to the West End, Uni & City Centre
- Transport: Walkable distance to both train station and subway (7 mins to Charing Cross and about 15 mins walk to St George’s Cross)
- Supermarket: Lidl 10 mins walk, Tesco express less than 5 mins
- Shared Kitchen & Bathroom/Toilet
Cost:
- Room Rent: £500 pcm
- Council Tax band: D
- Deposit: £500 /person
- Gas & Electricity: £ 45 ~ 75 /person
(It fluctuates as the winter bill is higher due to heating. It has not gone up to £75 last few months as we're really mindful of our energy use. It's currently £45)
- Wifi: around £ 15 /person
(TBC, the contract's under my flatmate's name, so ideally you and I will find one similar to what we're currently paying, or if you have an existing contract you wanna bring over, we could talk about it)
Total: ~ roughly £660-700+
A little about you:
- Ideally professional, or if you're a Master/PhD student who's willing to share the council tax on top of other bills
- Pay bills on time
- Non-smoker
- Looking for long term (12 months+)
- Mindful and responsible for the shared communal space
- Values a chill, respectful, friendly vibe
A little about me:
I’m not a smoker, so that’s a no-go for me.
I’m more on the introverted side but still like to hang out now and then — whether that’s going hiking, travelling, watching a good movie, or just chilling together. I’m a big fan of nature and quiet evenings with a book or film.
I really like having my own space and a calm home — definitely not a party flat.
I’m tidy, respectful, and big on communicating so things run smoothly. I’m good at sharing the chores in the common areas so it’s fair for both of us.
I work hybrid, so you’ll see me working from home a few days a week.
If this sounds like a place you’re looking for, drop me a message with a bit about yourself. Just pop a message if you’ve got any questions. We could arrange viewing to see if we're good match. Thanks.
