We are looking for a mature, friendly and reliable person to share the home of an independent older woman who experiences some memory loss but greatly enjoys company and conversation. She would particularly welcome someone with an ex‑Navy background or a Mediterranean heritage. In exchange for low‑cost accommodation, we ask that you offer around 10 hours of support each week and provide a reassuring overnight presence. We carry out detailed interviews, references and a DBS check.

Support would include cooking on three evenings a week, helping with light cleaning and tidying, offering companionship, and being a calm, steady presence in the home. Someone warm, sociable and dependable, with an understanding of memory loss would be a great fit.
