Homeshare West is looking for a good humoured, patient and sociable person who is happy to support a householder who gets lonely at times. Someone willing to help look after the garden, share the occasional meal and give the householder a lift to shops and appointments when necessary. Car ownership is essential.

The householder is a sociable, independent woman who has some memory loss. She is an ex school teacher who lived in France for 25 years, and enjoys board games, chess, architecture, going to flea markets and museums, and loves sports.

Homesharing is a low cost accommodation arrangement. You give ten hours of your time each week helping an older person with practical tasks, and provide companionship and overnight security for the householder. In return you get a pleasant room in a safe environment with very low outgoings.

We have a thorough interview process and will need good references and a DBS check before we can introduce you to the householder.
