You could be living in a 4-bedroom period house, shared with three other professionals - all clean, tidy, easygoing, friendly, but respectful of each other's privacy.

OUR HOME:

Our home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite and 1 bathroom shared by the 2 people living next to it).

Each bedroom is situated on its own floor, providing ample space and privacy.

Our large, fully equipped kitchen truly has everything you might ever need, from American-style fridge/freezer, double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, microwave, to all other smaller gadgets and paraphernalia.

We have a lovely, manicured garden with a BBQ area, a dinning table with chairs, a coffee table with chairs. Our garden isn’t massive, but it’s a lovely place to relax in a good weather. You may even plant some flowers, fruit or veg if that’s your thing.

YOUR ROOM:

A spacious, bright double bedroom (overlooking the garden). The room is newly refurbished and includes a large wardrobe, double bed with a brand new mattress, chest of drawers, shelves, a small desk, and a chair.

You would be sharing bathroom with one very clean and tidy female housemate.

GREAT LOCATION:

A quiet, tree-lined street in a nice, diverse neighborhood (mostly families with children and young professionals).

Free parking available outside the house.

Local parks and riverside walks within easy walking distance.

Just 5 minutes' walk to all amenities.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

5 minutes' walk to bus stops (services run every few minutes, including night buses).

10 minutes' walk to British Rail (Plumstead Station), with direct trains to major stations including London Bridge, Charing Cross, Lewisham, Cannon Street, Greenwich, Blackfriars, St. Pancras, and even Luton and Hampstead.

Elizabeth Line, DLR (Woolwich Station), and Clipper Ferry within walking distance or a short bus ride (a couple of stops). Ideal for commuting to Canary Wharf, Stratford, the City, and the West End. Quick and easy access to City Airport and Heathrow.

Also, convenient direct access to Queen Elizabeth Hospital—13 minutes by car or 27 minutes via the 469 bus.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Although we all look after our home, all common areas are professionally cleaned twice a month for that extra shine (included in the price).

All bills i. e. Council Tax, TV Licence, gas, electricity, water are included in the price and you may enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi.

We operate a “kitchen jar” system, which works really well and saves us all time and money. Every month each one of us puts £30 in a “kitchen jar”. The money covers everyday shared items like washing-up liquid, laundry detergent, water filters, etc., as well as minor breakages (e. g., crockery, pans and pots) and repairs/replacements for small appliances such as the kettle, microwave, or coffee machine.

We also have a WhatsApp channel for communicating with each other when not at home, which is great if you are expecting a package delivery, have some general announcements, need information or help with anything whilst on holiday. There is always someone available to help.

DETAILS:

Minimum stay: 1 month.

Cost: £900 per calendar month.

£600 deposit and references required.

Prospective lodgers must provide proof of:

a) right to live and work/study in the UK.
b) current employment or university enrollment.

Checks will be carried out as required by local law.
