Our contract is coming to an end and flatmates are moving out whilst I am looking to renew.
The House:
4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, semi detached house with living room, garden and front porch.
On the ground floor is my room, a conservatory turned into a room, and the garden is accessible through my room as well as a separate door on the side of the house. A very very spacious living room and good sized kitchen that has all the appliances you would need. Also has a dryer and a washing machine. Small bathroom with shower and loo.
1st floor has 3 bedrooms. 2 big double rooms with built in closets (amazing storage and mirrors) and superb natural light overlooking the garden. 1 small room with bunk bed and a huge closet overlooking the front porch. Desks, lamps etc are included in all rooms. This floor also has the big bathroom with great storage and a bath.
Location:
The house is at a great location- 15 minutes walk to both Camden Town and King’s Cross station, 5-10 minutes walk to Camden Road overground station. Bus stops leading you all over london nearby as well. All supermarkets (lidl, big sainsbury’s, co-op, waitrose, etc) are all within 10-15 minutes of walking.
It is in a residential area (I haven’t heard a police siren ever-since i moved here, lol) but once you are on the main road, it gets a bit bustling - charity shops, cafés, great restaurants, pubs, music venues, basically everything that comes with Camden.
We are literally 5 minutes walk away from Regent’s Canal - chill walk to Camden Market, Angel, etc. Good 20 minutes walk to Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill in the opposite direction.
Universities:
15 minutes (if you walk at my mediocre pace ;)) walk by the canal to Central Saint Marints. Direct tubes to UCL, King’s College, City University and with one change to Imperial College, RCA, etc.
Charges per month:
Room 1 - £1047
Room 2 - £1046
Room 3 - £733
Bills we have been paying for winter: around £150 each per month (gas, electricity, water, wifi) expected to go down during summer.
About myself:
I am 22 textile design student at Central Saint Martins. Pretty easy going and try to be friends with my flatmates. Love going to movies, musicals, galleries, local markets and dinner parties. Very creative and would like to have a similar vibe in the house. I usually cycle everywhere as everything is nearby. If you are in the kitchen, you will definitely hear me laughing sometimes at stupid reels or movies.
About you:
Respectful of other flatmates if they need a downtime. Keen on keeping the house a friendly environment. Can’t stress this enough: clean after yourself in the communal areas. Would be great if you have similar interests or are on the same page to create a good homey home.
Available from 1st June on a yearly contract with 6 months break clause. The agent would need your university letter, passport, visa copy if you are on a visa and bank statements. Rent payments would be in 3 months instalments.
