Hey! We're a house of three (Saleh, Dom and Sam) in a 4 bedroom house located in Heaton Mersey. Dom and I are PhD students at UoM, while Sam works in university teaching/learning. Our current housemate has just left, so we're looking for someone (preferences listed on the side) to take over his room immediately.
We're generally all outdoorsy and climb/run/hike, but also big fans of good music and films! We like to keep the shared spaces tidy and clean. We get along really well but we're all quite independent and live our own schedules, so it's a super nice balance!
The room is the master bedroom - it has two big windows, tonnes of storage space, and comes furnished. It's seriously big. The house itself is pretty spacious and spread over four floors; there's a large cellar where we store our bikes and other things, a living room, dining room, kitchen and garden on the ground floor, bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor (including this one), and a further two on the top floor.
Rent is £450 excl bills, which usually amount to an extra £100 - £150. Council tax (Band C) will be dependent on if you're a full time student or not.
