There are four of us but we need a fifth housemate for the full year - the pictures are from the previous tenants and are not up to date/highest quality, so please reach out for current videos/photos as they can't be attached here.

We're a group of friends who got close during first year but who are very open and welcome to meeting new people and friends :) We're all going into our second year at UoM with two of us having been at previous universities and withdrawing so we are 20 going on 21. Subjects being studied are two digital media, culture & society, history, and physics, as well as being involved in different societies and activties. We all have a big range of interests and activities like games (both video games and board!), arts & crafts, movie/tv nights, picnics, studying together, football, music & cooking, thrifting, and just relaxing and hanging out together. etc. as well as having friends from many different societies and backgrounds outside of the house, so we are confident we can get along with anyone! We are not huge partiers and are on the quieter side anyway, but with that in mind as we are a close friend group from first year we will probably be spending a lot of time together in the common areas such as the living room (with new housemate welcome). However, it is not a necessary quality and we can easily welcome a more introverted housemate who prefers a quieter environment, as we are more towards this anyway and would gladly accommodate.

The house is about a 25-30 minute walk from UoM but is very close to bus routes such as 143 and 50, as well as being close to the Curry Mile and Platt Fields Park. It is also about a short <15 minute walk from a shopping area including a Lidl, Tesco, Subway, Tim Hortons, Poundland, a Wetherspoons, and more.

It is fully furnished with a large living room and amply-sized bedrooms separated onto three floors (one bedroom on bottom and top and 3 on middle floor). The two bathrooms both have showers, located one on the bottom floor and the middle floor one doubling as a bath. The bedroom available has a double bed, desk, wardrobe, and bookshelf, along with extra furniture from the rooms possibly being available or to switch depending on the housemate's needs. It is at the top of the stairs on the middle floor next to the middle floor bathroom. There is a washer and a nice garden/patio area in the back that we are excited to decorate.
