Hi, I’m Antonio, a live-in homeowner, and I’m looking for a friendly and respectful lodger to rent my spare room. My current flatmate is moving out by the 8th of April, so the room will be available from around the 10th of April.

My previous lodger stayed for 3 years, so ideally I’m looking for someone interested in a long-term stay. However, I’m happy to accept a minimum stay of 6 months.

The flat is located at 25 Birchwood Avenue, High Heaton (NE7), in a quiet and well-connected area between Chillingham Road and Four Lane Ends.

The two bedrooms and the living room were refurbished in 2023. The home is clean, cosy and comfortable, ideal for someone looking for a relaxed and tidy living environment.

The flat is fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer, coffee machine, microwave, air fryer, two blenders, and all essential cooking equipment (plates, pans, etc.).

The Bedroom
The room is fully furnished and includes a bed, desk (great for working from home), cupboards and a wardrobe.

About me
I work as a Test Engineer for an IT company based in Newcastle and usually spend 3–4 days per week in the office. I also travel for work and visit family abroad regularly, so the flat is often quiet.

I’m tidy, respectful and easy-going, and I’m looking for someone with a similar mindset who values a clean and peaceful home.
