I have one double room that be available for a short stay from start of September to middle September.
The house is a 3-story, 3-bed with three bathrooms (floor plan attached). The location is very central, only a 5-minute walk from Westgate shopping centre and Christ Church/Pembroke College. Despite the central location it is a quiet, well-kept area. We also benefit from the lovely view of the River Thames, complete with adorable schools of ducks and geese!
The bedroom and shared areas of the house are all fully furnished with Nectar mattresses, lots of storage space (loft, storage eaves, shed, ottoman bedframes, understairs area, etc.), a 65-inch TV, PlayStation, and even a mahjong set! The kitchen is also fully equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob, oven, rice cooker, food processor etc.
The house is currently occupied by myself, my Ragdoll cat Mochi, and my two flatmates who are both moving out soon - one on 17th July (en-suite room) and one end of September.
A bit about myself: I am a 3rd year DPhil student at Lincoln college studying Molecular Cell Biology. I'm British-Chinese and grew up in London/Beijing, and studied for my undergraduate degree at King's College London. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, hiking, going to many events Oxford has to offer, organising socials for my department and exploring new places around and out of town.
I’m looking for friendly and sociable female graduate students (for council tax and bathroom sharing reasons) to move into the spare room.
Some things I will prioritise:
1) Love of cats and willingness to help take care of Mochi when needed
2) Keeping the house clean and adhering to a weekly cleaning schedule or splitting costs for professional cleaning
