Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a new housemate for a lovely house in East Oxford / St. Clement's. We're very close to the Plain roundabout (and Kazbar :)). It's just a ten minute walk to the city centre. My current flatmate will relocate on 24 February 2026. I'm a DPhil student in History. I really like to keep it comfy, neat and clean, so I hope you're happy with that, too. It really is a priority of mine.
It's rented as furnished but most of the furniture is mine although I'm happy to share everything. There is a double bed and a wardrobe that my current flatmate would be happy to leave behind for £50. We have a combined living and dining area with space for books and a large kitchen with lots of light. However, storage is limited. There is a little bit of outdoor space that I would really like to develop a bit more.
We have a dishwasher, washing machine a microwave, and a lovely bathroom (with a tub) upstairs with a window. Your room oversees a grand magnolia tree. The house comes with a free off-road parking space in a private driveway so it's perfect for people who own a car or want one.
The property is owned by a charity and managed by a truly wonderful and reliable agent who and is always there to help. An estate agents company will put together the paperwork.
The bills fluctuate a lot from £50 in the summer to £140 per person in the winter. That includes broadband, electricity / gas and water. As a student I'm exempt from council tax. So, that means you would have a 25% discount if you're not a student yourself. It's band D.
Message me about a viewing or a little chat, and if you have any questions. Also, tell me a little bit about yourself.
Best wishes,
Louisa
